After building 50+ landing pages, patterns emerge. Some things always work. Others never do. Here's what we've learned.

The Above-the-Fold Formula

Your hero section needs:

  1. A clear headline - What do you do?
  2. A value prop - Why should I care?
  3. Social proof - Who else uses this?
  4. One CTA - What should I do next?

The Section Order That Works

  1. Hero with headline + CTA
  2. Social proof / logos
  3. Problem statement
  4. Solution overview
  5. Features (3-5 max)
  6. More social proof / testimonials
  7. Pricing (if applicable)
  8. FAQ
  9. Final CTA

Design Principles

  • One column layout performs best
  • Lots of whitespace
  • Big, readable text
  • High contrast CTAs
  • Real images > stock photos

Copy That Converts

  • Lead with benefits, not features
  • Use specific numbers
  • Address objections head-on
  • Write like you talk
  • Keep it scannable

The #1 Mistake

Trying to say too much. Every additional element dilutes your message. When in doubt, remove it.
